The premium WooThemes Canvas BuddyPress Theme is a child theme of the very popular Canvas theme. So you’ll need Canvas Theme and have it activated, in addition to the Canvas BuddyPress child theme to tap into this social networking functionality.

- We’re very much in an experimental phase with BuddyPress and our support policy with regards to this phase will be adapted accordingly.
- We’d love to hear about any bugs you encounter using the theme and we’ll endeavour to fix them up ASAP. This has been a collaborative effort with an external developer (more on this below) though, which means we won’t be moving as quickly on this (as we do with our WP themes).
- If you have feature requests, we’re keen to hear from you, and will consider adding those to our roadmap.
- BuddyPress is an absolute beast to theme, which means we can’t offer any modification / customization support for the child theme at this stage (which is generally covered in our Support Policy). It’s not that we don’t want to help, but as long as this is in beta, we’ll be limiting our support in this regard to allow us to get it out of beta status ASAP (i.e. we’d rather address bugs & feature requests).
